New Arrivals // Open

A strange new world, well a strange yet sort of familiar world. Detective Inspector Gregory Lestrade of the New Scotland Yard thought as he walked down the streets of Albion's capital city. This is not England, yet it does seem quite similar to Victorian England, so why am I in this place? How did I get here? What am I going to do here? How will I make a living here? What will everyone back in London think now that I am gone? These were all questions that were in Lestrade's mind as he walked and looked around. Lestrade was quite frankly terrified of what had happened to him, it seems he had just lost all his friends and family, and that he may quite possibly never see them again.

Lestrade then took out his wallet and opened it, taking a look at a couple of photos he had in it. There was a photo of him and his friends, one of him and his sister and a final one of him, his ex-wife and daughter. He was glad that he was semi-old fashioned, if he didn't have physical copies and only had those photos on his phone, once his phone lost power, they would likely be lost forever.

After a few minutes of looking at the photos, he put his wallet back into his coat and started wandering around the street once more, having no idea where he was going or what he was going to do. I need a bloody drink, perhaps this is just a really bad nightmare after all the stress of work, right that's bloody likely. Well just as likely as being teleported to another universe and this being a nightmare does sound a hell of alot better.

Well if I got dropped here, maybe Holly or Annabel also came to this strange world. Lestrade thought for a moment before chastising himself for that thought, Why the hell would you want them to be here? You better hope damn well they didn't also come into this world since if they did, they would have also lost their old lives, and if they came here what makes you think you may even find them?
