personality;; A few words to define Howard Stark, the man is a genius, he has a ego as big as or if you ask some bigger than his intellect. He is one of the smartest person currently alive and if you are that intelligent, you can have a ego, his ego is actually quite justified. Few people can actually match his intelligence, so when he says you are wrong, it is not his ego speaking most of the time, he is actually right, and you are wrong, no matter how hard it is to accept that.

Howard is also a man whom is a believer of doing what is right, he strives to build a better world with his intellect, to make a better tomorrow for this generation and future generations. He is willing to break or bend rules if he thinks he is doing the right thing. In the end Howard believes in the best of people and that the world is a brilliant place, but at the same time he is slowly growing cynical of the world. The horrors that Howard experienced have damaged him internally.

The man is a attention seeker and a womanizer. He loves the attention of females on him, and at the same time loves to give his attention to attractive females. He is however quite responsible even as a womanizer. When he is in a serious relation, Howard's womanizing tendencies disappear and he becomes much more serious when it comes to that sort of thing.

history;; Howard Stark is the son of James and Madeline Stark. The Stark's were a wealthy family until the great depression happened and the family lost nearly all their wealth. Howard's father James committed a murder-suicide after losing his fortune in the stock market crash, after his parents death, Howard was left with what little remained of the family fortune. This event left Howard with a sense of determination, he swore to himself that he would rebuild the family fortune.

After Howard's parents died, he was raised by the family butler, Edwin Jarvis whom took him in even though he was no longer employed by the family. When Howard came of age, he attempt to rebuild the family fortune. It was during this period he met Obadiah Stane. Stane's family also lost most of their fortune in the stock market crash but they managed to make it out far better than most people. Obadiah and Howard beame fast friends bonding over shared experiences and a shared desire to rebuild their family fortunes. While Howard was focused on rebuilding his wealth,  he was also a man with a vision, he wanted to change the world for the better.

Howard and Obadiah decided to merge their remaining fortune to found Stark Industries. Howard was the man with the vision, while Obadiah was the man whom had the necessary funds to start up the company. It was a partnership that suited both of them. Once the company was found and Howard got to work, both his and Obadiah's fortunes grew vastly. Howard also used much of his fortune helping out the once he regained the family wealth. Howard also never forgot what Jarvis did for him, thus as soon as he regained his wealth, he tried his best to pay Jarvis back for all the years Jarvis raised him. Howard also hired Jarvis to be the family butler once more, and raised Jarvis's salary to heights was above the average.

When the United States joined the Second World War, this was when the company truly soared. Howard became one of the Allies primary weapons contractor. He was among the best and brightest of those whom worked for the allies. Howard latter became one of the founding members of the Strategic Research Reserve along side Abraham Erskine, Chester Phillips and Peggy Carter.

Howard played a key part in the development of the supersoldier serum and project rebirth. Howard latter became a close friend of Steven Rogers, or as he was more popularly know as, Captain America. Howard was saddened by the captain's death at the end of the war and resolved to recover his friend's body, funding and participating in frequent arctic expeditions to search for the crash site.

Howard is currently the Director of the SSR and CEO of Stark industries. Most things at Stark industries are handled by Obadiah though, Howard is mainly focused on his duties to the SSR.
