personality;; Castiel is generally good natured and caring. But there are moments when he's less good-spirited. However, most of the time the Angel is neutral about everything and would follow his own opinion.
Cas is rather loyal and seeks truth in things. He may be a member of God's army but still would keep to his own decisions about various reasons behind his activities.
There is a great percentage of time Cas behaves childish and reckless. And most of that time he would be exploring humans and their "weirdness" as they "differ" from straightforward Angel's point of view.

Then happened Castiel- and Angel of God- that was given the body of a human (a vessel) with a great love for the Almighty.

And so the Angel was sent to Earth to fight evil and help humans.
And he joined a group of other Angels like him and led them to many fights to clear the planet of evil forces that not only endangered humans but also Angels themselves.

Until one day after especially tough fight and near - destruction he stumbled into a mysterious portal that brought him into another world...
